Order Turnaround Time
Shipping times vary by vendor.
Please keep in mind this is a marketplace and all of the orders are fulfilled by 3rd party vendors that have their own shipping times and rates.
Orders typically take 1 to 3 days to process before they ship, excluding weekends and holidays. During Holidays processing times may take up to 7 days.
When you order products from the VegByte Marketplace website, you can be assured your purchase will be shipped with the utmost care to the shipping address provided. All orders are shipped directly to you by the individual market vendors.
Delivery estimations will vary by processing time, shipping method, and destination.
The following estimations represent average transit times once shipped.
- Within the continental United States: 1-6 business days
- Canada: 9-15 business days
- International: 10-45 business days
There may also be circumstances that are out of our control (natural disasters, holidays, weather, accidents, etc.), which may cause shipping postponements and carrier delays.
For this reason, we do not guarantee the exact delivery time; delivery issues are the responsibility of the shipping company.
Tracking Shipments and Tracking Numbers
Once we have packed and dispatched your order, we will send you a confirmation email with courier information and tracking number.
Note that tracking details may need some time to appear. If tracking information does not appear initially, please check again at a later time.
Shipping charges will be calculated by this website and automatically applied to your order during the checkout process, or alternatively quoted by our vendors on a per case basis.
Applicable shipping charges will depend upon the shipping method you select, the location of the delivery address, and the size and weight of the products in your order.
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the product pricing or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
Most of our vendors are able to ship internationally, while others ship only within the continental United States.
Shipping Methods and Periods
Our vendors use local and international postal and/or courier services to ship their products.
If you place your order by 5:00 PM (local time) on a working day, your order will usually be dispatched by the following working day provided that the item is in stock.
The delivery periods mentioned in this policy are indicative only, and whilst our vendors will make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, they do not guarantee delivery before the end of the stated period.
For your security, our vendors may conduct credit card fraud screening checks before dispatching their products, and these checks may delay your delivery.
If the delivery is likely to be delayed as a result of screening checks, they will notify you.
Receipt and Signature
All tracked deliveries must be received in person at the delivery address, and a signature must be provided.
The courier service will notify you in advance of attempting to make a delivery requiring signature.
Additional Deliveries and Collection
The courier service will generally make one attempt to deliver your items.
If your package(s) remains unsuccessfully delivered despite the courier making an attempt to deliver them, the courier will leave a card at your address with instructions on how you may collect your products, including a time limit for collection.
If you experience any problems with a delivery, please contact the relevant vendor directly using the contact details that they publish on our website or otherwise notify to you.
If the delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products, and such failure is your fault, and you do not collect your products from the delivery service provider within the relevant time limit, our vendors may agree to arrange for re-delivery of the products.
However, they reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery even where the initial delivery was free of charge.
An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your fault is set out below:
- you provided the wrong address for delivery;
- there is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided;
- the address for delivery is not reasonably accessible;
- the address for delivery cannot safely be accessed;
- if in-person receipt is not required, there is no easy and secure means of leaving the products at the address for delivery and there is no person available to accept delivery; or
- if in-person receipt is required, there is no person available at the address for delivery to accept delivery and provide a signature.
